Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is derived from a small sample of your own blood. On the day of your treatment, a small sample of blood will be drawn and then spun in a centrifuge. Next, we apply a topical anesthetic to your face. Then we will begin to pass over your skin with the microneedling pen. Your clinician will then massage the PRP into the treated areas of the skin. The treatment usually takes less than two hours in total.  Expected downtime is between 24-72 hours as mild redness occurs after any microneedling treatment.  More so when not combined with PRP.  We recommend a series of 3 Microneedling treatments about four weeks apart to see the best results.
